SVS Sound

SVS Sound allows Spectrum AV to design audio systems with proper bass using multiple subwoofers for our Marin County clients without breaking the bank. Compared to is competition, SVS Sound comes in at half the price with zero sonic compromise. In order to determine the correct placement and number of sub woofers in a room, Spectrum AV uses room analysis software that calculates bass performance with room specific calculations.

Spectrum AV’s Multi-Subwoofer Approach

Proper bass reproduction in any room is fundamentally a matter of physics. The lower frequencies emitted by a subwoofer propagate in slow-moving waves that, within the confines of a room, can create uneven sound distribution. This results in "humps and dips," where one seating position may experience optimal bass while the adjacent seat might have noticeably less bass.

To address this challenge, Spectrum AV strategically employs multiple subwoofers in our media room configurations. By using more than one subwoofer, we effectively overcome the acoustic limitations posed by a single subwoofer setup. This approach ensures a more uniform and satisfying bass response across different seating positions, enhancing the overall audio experience in any room. At Spectrum AV, integrating multiple subwoofers into our audio designs is a standard practice to achieve the best possible sound balance.
